Message: I have been a member of the St. Paul Branch for approximately 40 YEARS. These past couple years customer service and working with my account has been difficult to say the least. The upgrade that was recently done made things even more difficult for me to work with my accounts. I have closed certificates of deposit, tried to consolidate accounts, closed safe deposit boxes and other choices to limit my use of this institution. I have moved some accounts to an other financial institution. I have worked with managers to straighten out mistakes employees have made a considerable amount of times. Phone service is usually 20 minutes to speak to a live person. Hiway has offered a safe driving class for seniors on line or in person for as long as I have been taking a class. I have been trying for the past 6 months to see if the credit union will continue to offer these classes for its seniors. So far, I have been told there is no class offered at this time. Many seniors enjoyed taking the classes as it always seemed when I took my class there were 30 plus people taking the class. Maybe this is just another one of the benefits Hiway offered in the past and has discontinued for its clients? This review is too long overdue, maybe it will help future clients and again maybe not! Time will tell and we will see if the situations are resolved and customer service improves. Thanks for your help.. July 2023…… Hiway Credit Union is making strong strides in getting back to the services and customer service they provided years ago. There is always room for improvement and I hope they continue to do so and listen to their client base! The Safe Driver Education for the clients has been restored and I’m hoping other programs that were discontinued will also come back?. Thank for the improvements with your services!
